Córdoba

Córdoba was captured in 711 by a Muslim army. In the 10th and 11th centuries, Córdoba was one of the most advanced cities in the world as well as a great cultural, political, financial and economic centre.

On our excursion we will visit the famous Mezquita (the Great Mosque of Cordoba), the Calleja de las Flores (street of flowers), and the Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs where Columbus met Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand as he prepared to take his first voyage to the Americas!
